Green house in Singapore

Green houseThe Meera House was built in design Guz Architects and is located on Sentosa Island, Singapore. It is a bold and original project. However, few homes can boast a green area at every level. Here is a brief description of Architects: Land of the island are not great and the buildings are built in close proximity, so our strategy was to build strong walls around to ensure the greatest possible privacy and at the same time enough light in the central part and staircase on which to feel the breeze. The terrace provides not only visual, but real access to vegetation. The goal was the garden as the basis of the above laminated floor and giving effect to appear as two storey house. We managed somehow, despite limited space and the large size of the house. This is a wonderful architectural idea and certainly uncompromising maintenance of greenery. Really amazing design, very beautiful architecture and perfect interior, which is unforgetable in all cases.

The pipes would have occupied too much space and detract from the height of the premises, which has already been reduced because of the climate system. It is therefore refused, however, an alternative solution is not bad at all. Built over the stairs, starting from the garden dratsena / dracaena /, shed looks very spectacular and adds an additional level in the roof garden. It planted vegetation types, including 2 types of mint, which Blesso used for cocktails, which makes its guests. The roof is open to the views of Manhattan, Brooklyn and Williamsburg bridges. (more…)
