The house of ruins is a modern house, built among the ruins of stone barn in the bag, Latvia. But they are not used as part of its structure, but were upgraded and converted into a wall surrounding the building and forming a cozy courtyard. So the house in ruins is protected from the winds of the open plain, which is from foreign eyes, giving their owners privacy. The house was built in 2002, has an area of 200 square meters and was designed by Latvian NRJA. The project has received the award from the Latvian Architecture Prize (2005), the Best Technology Award from the Interior Digest Magazine (exclusive of implementation of modern design, construction and electronic technology, 2006) and nominated for the Mies van der Rohe Award (2007). And this year the competition involved in the Building of the year 2009 of ArchDaily. The combination of ancient and modern exterior interior is quite interesting and makes a striking contrast. This is optional. Another is both their desire to have privacy, yet be able to enjoy the surrounding area. This is achieved by windows are left in the old wall and through the flat roof, which leads to a spiral staircase and a playground, which reveals the entire plane. Together with the beautiful exterior and amazing style, the house is offering comfortable living and nice bedroom. The bedroom is equipped with memory foam mattresses, which will make your rest really beautiful. The rest is not everything, but the comfortable mattresses will make you to love every house.
The beautiful house built among the ruins Beautiful house built among the ruins Beautiful house built among the ruins. Earned House of ruins prize for technology is not accidental and implies that the building is built efficiently. In this project, as well as in a renovated barn in Somerset, used local materials from an older building. The walls of the house are solar thermal passive use of natural light and maximize is equipped with energy-saving appliances and lighting. It may be called the ‘”green project”. The problem with such projects is that no one cares to make pictures inside. No matter how interesting the design is always curious what your decor is complemented.

Germanic engineering have long proclaimed the advanced and innovative. Recognized architect and engineer Werner Sobek manages to incorporate the movement of semi-finished products. Together with his company’s engineering and design he conceived modern, prefabricated homes with a minimum number of parts. Their concept is leading to be stylish and durable. These are primarily R128 and H16, which are mild and not only look but are actually comfortable. For its part, model R129 is something totally different like appearance. It is far from the form of “box” that is considered as a classic, and the shape of the globe. Perhaps this idea will be evaluated mostly from a cosmopolitan part of society. R128 model is made of glass and steel materials and the aim is to be more environmentally friendly and can be processed. The ease with which it is produced and builds, is clearly demonstrated to Stuttgart, where a similar house was built for 11 weeks. Inside the building has no doors and walls. Control over the whole equipment is dependent on voice commands and movement sensors. Постройката е енергийно ефективна и разполага със свои слънчеви панели, които регулират температурата вътре.
Cubic H16 is built from contrasting cubes. Those are made of glass, are “public functions”, and private rooms are black concrete. There are cubes in bright colors. The entire structure is heated by a special geothermal system, electricity is obtained again from the light panels. This is one of the most popular models ever. The structure of R129 in turn has nothing to do with tradition. It is similar to a plastic material that is light and transparent. The frame is carbon fiber sections. Air conditioning, electricity, water, communication links are connected through the “ground level”. The premises are not divided by partitions or walls. Its futuristic appearance is complemented by electric film which can darken or render the surface completely opaque. Does anyone in the future will need curtains?
