Luxury Ecological House – Three Trees
This post is a pretty pictures, even too much. But this is simply because the house concerned really worth it! No way a few pictures to get all aspects. The reason is the way it is built – the principles of sustainable development and that in combination with great design and interior. Creator and owner of this beautiful house is the architect Jeremy Levine. That’s why the project is called Levine Residence. On the pitch, which is located the house, there are many trees and it is good. This is to hinder its possible expansion. Levine decided to maintain them, hem, hem add extension from 60 square meters to the building 100 meters ², which does not completely renovated. Place it as the new part built around the trees, and so each room to look like a courtyard. Hence the name of the house Three Trees or as I call it – three trees. But as the firm of Levine deals with a modern, sustainable architecture, he decided to use this project and laboratory testing of sustainable technologies and green materials, such as the incorporation of a system for recycling gray water / sewage bit / s of concrete fly ash to use in other projects. But enough verbal arbitrariness. For the interior I can say only superlatives. I especially like the living room with fireplace and TV, but not because of them, but because of the furniture and especially because of the light that streams from the windows. And since the three trees are located in California, the sun shines ше it permanently. To use as much daylight have been made and special small windows. do not know how to call the Bulgarian, but like embrasures and are located between the large and the ceiling. I like my bedroom – one bedroom like a Mediterranean villa, while the other has a great view. But in this otherwise very beautiful house, there’s one thing I do not like – one of the bathrooms. I hope I’m not switching, and it is not part of this house. The decision to pour the sink, worktop and concrete tub out of the ashes is very good, but performance seems worse – like my rough rural drinking fountain with cattle. But clearly at the bottom of the red box, where any red concrete elements. While even the bathroom of the photo above is exactly my taste. Especially that and the floor is the same as wood and countertop. Rarely seen wood floors in bathrooms. I do not know why people think it is inappropriate. I do not think that if done properly would have a problem with moisture. But even at luxury homes wood floors in bathrooms are rare.
