Shell House

The houses may soon not be what they are today. Architects around the world compete to design interesting and different homes. More importantly, that more of these projects materialize in the form of real buildings – occupied, well absorbed and unconventional space vision. Just so is the shell – a house that looks more like a living sculpture.
It is the work of architect Kotaro is coming and is built in a forest near the town Karuizava, which is located in the province of Nagano, Japan. The building is designed as a vacation haven, and therefore perfectly able to withstand both wet summers are hot and the cold snowy winters, typical of the region.
Concrete structures represents 2 oval that resemble bird’s eye view of the English letter J, but viewed from the earth more reminiscent of seashells. The building was raised about five feet above the ground through the platform of a special timber that does not rot in harsh weather conditions. The entire living area is surrounded by wooden balconies, built from the same durable material.
Between the structure is preserved and part of the environment – some trees are almost literally built into the shell-house.
The upper part, which serves as a roof is equipped with windows for additional natural light.

Every writer needs a quiet place, a place where inspiration is in the air. We found exactly such a place – paradise on earth, peace, nature.
Gianni Botsford, part of GB Architects, it becomes a gift for his father. For him, he built Casa Kike, located in Cahuita, Costa Rica. Using local techniques and materials, the architect creates this modern paradise for his father.
The whole house is built on wooden structure without vertical walls and the interior consists of spacious studio with a huge library, writing room and grand piano. A real paradise for every creative person!
There is a creative area and bedrooms with a bathroom in a separate pavilion are just a few steps.

The forest is giving some kind of mystique. The houses, which we will see today are as mystique as the forest is. The houses are Like jumped of the fairy tales and our children’s imaginary worlds, these little wooden houses we captured. We climbed on forest trees and nestle in the green branches they invoke their dreams of peace and escape from reality. They can accommodate a whole family of four and a simple but sufficiently spacious terrace, guests are always welcome.
They are furnished with small wooden furniture, the windows on the walls are carved in all shapes and delicate floral canopy covering the bed to swing the slight breeze forest.
Beautiful, natural and unusual sounds in the background all of life with which we are accustomed – metal and busy, forgot all magic.
These beautiful real estates are really interesting architecture and designers decision, which is using very good the calmness of the forest, and the cozy of the wood.

House with perfect sea view

We will present this nice house on a hill, which has magnificent sea views.
House D House of Architects Panorama is situated on a hill overlooking the sea in Matanzas, Chile and manages to be both modern and cozy and very interesting. It is only 96 square meters, but so stylish.
The second floor is tilted horizontally at an angle of 45 degrees to the first, thus establishing a double height area above the living room, kitchen and dining room.
On the ground floor are the nursery and spacious, but very well hidden from the wind terrace. The second floor has a large bedroom and bathroom.
In all cases the exterior is not so amazing as expected, but really the view and the position of the house is perfect. It is exactly to the sea and you will be part of the summer all the time.

This bright and beautiful house is located in Suffolk, UK and is the work of architects Mole Architects in collaboration with Jarmund Visnaes Architects. The Dune House has 5 bedrooms, each boasts with private bath.
The home is completely relax, with great interior design and beautiful panoramic views. The interior is clad in natural wood paneling, furniture is lightweight, comfortable in white and beige natural materials.
This summer beauty can be rented for a weekend, from Friday to Monday and during the week or the week. Prices start from £ 22 per night per person.
You can relax in the whirlpool bath to get rid of any tension on the large roof terrace or read a book in the library.

This modern house was designed for a student of architect Brian MacKay-Lyons. The name of the Bridge House (Bridge House) of MacKay-Lyons Sweetapple Architects comes from its location in a gorge between two huge stone pain. This building has a modern architecture and rustic flair.
It is located on a lake in Nova Scotia, Canada and impressive addition to its beautiful exterior, which has been used wood and the interior, who is very comfortable and stylish.
Overall exterior is very modern, but combines the exact feeling of a mountain chalet. However, the interior is great. The luxury villa is amazing design decision, architects have truly put a great feeling for nature in it.

The ecological problems are discussed all around the world and many architects just paid attention to them and create some of the most modern houses with eco-motives. Together with this fact the house, which we will present now i far away from the noise, but having all the necessary equipment for comfortable living. The Black and white forest house, which today will present is the work of the architects of David Jameson Architect. The house is called “The Black White Residence” and yourself as you can guess, it is dominated by classic colors black and white.
The architects rely on color contrast both to and between existing design of the previous white masonry building and constructed a new body inside the house, which are mainly used glass and metal. The four airy glass fixtures that “climb” the white base, is now seen as modern towers in which the premises with double height invaded sunlight.

Russia is usually associated with snow, m emptiness and wooden houses. Architects from a Russian studio, however, turned the ideas of modern interir and design while keeping the typical Russian values and traditions. Really a beautiful design and architecture can always warm your heart, even in the coldest winter evenings.
Russian architects studio Akant finish this house in 2008. Located on the old property in Podrezkovo Moscow, with many trees, the most interesting aspect of this house is constructive scheme. It consists of two parts: a two-storey wooden house beams measuring 270 x 200 mm and 3 m columns that surround the house and carry the roof. Corridor is made of wooden frame with insulation.
The house has two floors with a total area of 350 square meters. The first floor has a living room with balcony, kitchen, guest room with bathroom, rest area with a staircase, corridor and closet. On the second floor has large bedroom with bathroom, two cloakrooms and two cabinets. The bedroom and bathroom there is an exit to the terrace.
Very beautiful and warm design. Very interesting combination of rural interior design models. And top it all location in a beautiful green forest creates a sense of calm.

Village house from Cadaval and Sola-Morales

How good would you feel if you have a small house in the woods that you hide from the heat of summer and you accommodate to the fireplace in winter? The owners of this home choose Spanish architects Cadaval & Sola-Morales to create a comfortable second home. So old local house of stone in the Pyrenees is converted into two houses.
The project is created on the basis of the physical relationships between these institutions in a rehabilitated area. What qualifies these places, however, is the uniqueness of each unit. The roof is built as a sculpture and more constant feature, which provides space, lighting and view. A human look is spectacular views of the valley, while the same window, located at the top of the roof makes it possible to see the mountaintop.
The home meets the vernacular architecture with respect not only the appearance of the facade, but also with its structure and aesthetics. By retaining the facade, with minimal intervention, the idea is to strengthen the historical values of the local architecture.
Furthermore, the project is designed to be sustainable. New technologies and old folk knowledge have been implemented to make the Iberian houses, two resistant houses in a harsh climate.
