Swahili villaThis villa is an Irish psychiatrist who lives in London. Built in Swahili style and occupies an area of 465 m2 on a plot of 2 acres. Sits on the coast of the Kenyan island of Lamu. The place is really amazing – a beautiful sandy beach, palm trees and clear water. I hope there are not many hurricanes there. The house is a creation of designer Leslie Kenyan Dakuart that not only designs houses, but they built and furnished. According to its clients, Michael Burke and his wife, fate has sent them to her and this place. They fell in love in him and in the creations of Leslie. The villa was built in the Swahili style, characterized by balance, symmetry, simplicity and use of local materials. A career on the mainland are delivered as smooth as marble, coral blocks, which are plastered with traditional Swahili plaster – cement solution colored with ocher. Great harmony in English house from 1966

English HouseThe expression “exceptional harmony” is used for this house by the organization for the protection of English Heritage, when it announced a site with a level of importance 2. It is the work of one of the best English architects Peter Aldingan.
