Sinu River House

Quite a different look at the family home is one of the last projects of Antonio Sofan Architecture and Interiors Studio, developed in Colombia. The Sinu River House is located in Montero Sinu Valley, known as one of the most fertile areas in the world. Overlooking the eponymous river, which runs literally meters from the garden. It is surrounded by greenery and perhaps this is why its creators have tried to be complete in its contrast. The exterior is painted in white and blue and the interior is a bold combination of vibrant colors, but no trace of kitsch or redundancy. The building occupies a total area of 500 square meters in the middle of a vast meadow, around which a number of palms and trees.
In the Front there is a swimming pool and a wooden platform that serves as a personal beach. The rooms overlooking the water are divided among themselves by a wall, so that their residents can bask in the sun without being seen, and meet only in the pool.
The structure itself has several parts, smoothly blending into one another, and part of the walls facing the nearest street, lined with decorative metal grille. Before one of the entrances have another artificial water space, and access is provided through small islands in it. The interior is cool, thanks to the nearby river and the skills of architects managed to catch the whiff of it and keep it inside.
